Alex Moore is a New York City based lighting and visual designer, artist and photographer.

Alex designs lighting for theatre, dance, music, concerts, galleries, festivals, film/video, fashion, house's of worship, special events and architecture.

He has designed lighting for Tony winner (choreography) George Faison, The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Americas Next Top Model,  the motion picture Francis Ha, Town Hall, The Negro Ensemble Company, Inc., French Woods Alumni Association, international designer Miguel Adrover,  The Sounds of Blackness , world renown flamenco guitarist  Paco Pena,  La MaMa E.T.C., National Black Theatre, The Duke on 42nd Street and more...

Recent projects include, Cross That River, With a Little Help...It’s John Belushi ,Whitney Houston: The Last Interview directed by George Faison, So Amazing The Musical  and various other workshop productions.

Alex is a trained artist, photographer. In addition to his work in entertainment and live production he provides artistic and technical assistance including lighting, video, sound and scenic to a variety of theaters, venues and clients.  

His work has been viewed on Broadway,  Off Broadway , Off Off Broadway  and internationally.
